This photo of Duke Street 2 in Ireby Fell Cavern is dedicated to Pete Ireson and was taken on 13th July 2008, a few days before his untimely death.

It was taken with the 10D on a tripod. Lighting was by cavesun LED floodlights. Exposure was 3 seconds at f3.5 ISO 200 with a sigma 18-50mm lens at 18mm.
This photo of Yordas was taken on 19th June 2008.

It was taken with the 10D sat on a caving gear bag. There was no extra light used, only natural. Exposure was 30 seconds at f3.5 ISO 1600 with a sigma 18-50mm lens at 18mm.

It was taken with the 5D on a tripod. The natural light was augmented by a few flashes from a 550ex flash gun. Exposure was 2 off 13 seconds at f4 ISO 800 with a canon 24-105mm lens at 24mm and stacked in Photoshop.

It was taken with the 5D on a tripod. Lighting was by a sweep with an LED headtorch. Exposure was 16 seconds at f4 ISO 800 with a canon 17-40mm lens at 17mm.
This photo of the emerging water at the back of the main chamber in Yordas was taken on 18th July 2008.

It was taken with the 10D on a tripod. Lighting was by a scan from an LED torch. Exposure was 10 seconds at f4 ISO 1600 with a sigma 18-50mm lens at 18mm.
This photo of Gaping Gill main chamber was taken arround 1999 during one of the winch meets with my old Canon AE1-P, mounted on a tripod. Lighting was by several flashes from a flash gun plus the obvious ambient. Exposure etc from memory was probably 20-30 seconds at f2.8 ISO 400 with a Canon 28mm lens. This was the best effort of the day and the print has been scanned in with an oldish scanner some years ago. Wish I could find the negative, but it would probably be much easier and far more to go back...
